I met Michael Wilmington…
back in 1974 at the University of Madison, Wisconsin.
I hung on every word as Michael Wilmington talked about film, “…he talked about film in a way I had never heard before. In my first conversation with him we talked about “A Clockwork Orange” by Stanley Kubrick. From 1998 on I followed his reviews in the Chicago Tribune and was delightfully amazed at the insights he brought to every film review he wrote. We stayed in touch and in 1999 I decided to make a film about Michael Wilmington, but I had no idea where it would lead or that it would be a twenty-year journey.”
